Hours
The BRUMC Preschool program is a part time program for children ages 3 months to 2. You choose Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday for your child based on availability, and the program runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm with the option of early care from 8:00am to 9:00am for an extra fee of $5.00.
Cost
There is a $110 registration fee, and then the program is $150 per month. We provide a light morning snack for the children, and you would provide a lunch.
Objectives
We believe there is learning to be done in play, and children are never too young to begin learning. Our PDO children play a lot of their day with us, but, in their play, they learn the importance of sharing, using kind hands, and communicating with their peers. These lessons will be carried with them throughout their lives.
The PDO program follows along with the preschool's letter of the week, and they do a simple craft to introduce the letters. The PDO children are taught the basics of using crayons to color, and our two year olds begin playing with play doh to work on strengthening their fine motor skills.
The PDO classes have access to a small playground, as well as our gym with age appropriate tricycles and balls. We take them outside when possible, but we use the gym when it is too cold or raining.
The PDO teachers work hard to create a safe, fun environment for their children, and they truly treat every child as their own when they are with us.
